My friend Mark Amis is a talented painter. During the day he hand paints vintage cars and has one of the steadiest hands in the business. Here he is in his home studio working on a portrait commission, overlooked by a striking painting he did of his brother.
I consider Mark my local ‘Stringer’. He’s introduced me to a wealth of subjects including Sheena Rocks and Ewen Boumard and thanks to him, I’m currently shooting a huge series of portraits – still hush-hush but soon to be revealed.
Mark’s space is quite revealing. As is often the case with people working from home. A few objects can tell a lot.
