Finally, the results of six months work is now live! My new website has been redesigned and reengineered. Following feedback from customers and after bringing in the experts, I’m quite excited about what’s been achieved.
Over the years it has become obvious to me that the only effective methods of promoting my work is to make phone calls and have a great website. Making the phone calls I find tricky, making a great website a massive challenge.
Designer Mark Epton of Advocate and coder Robin Layfield of UltraSimplified are the experts and what they’ve done is brought my vision in to reality. The simplicity of the site hides the clever design and programming that has been done.
The full page, big image style was the obvious way to go. After all, this is a site about photography and the photographs need to be seen. We dumped the old thumbnail images and small-screen previews. I now have a portfolio of fresh images, a blog for these ramblings, a project section to show you what I’ve been working on and a login page for clients to access their images at library.caminada.co.uk.
This is a first big update and there will be other more subtle changes to make it even better. I’d love your feedback so please send me a mail.
