Portrait Photography

Creating portrait photography is at the heart of my work

A portrait needs an empathetic approach, great light, and accurate composition to show character and personality.

I always feel that a good portrait is a collaboration between me and the subject. Getting to know each other a little better is mostly the result of some really interesting chats. The conversations we have inspire me and form the foundation for ideas and creativity.

Seeking the relationship between a subject and their surroundings can also be important. So much of a person’s character can be found in their environment and can help to tell their story.

First and foremost, these images are a personal expression. They are a reflection of my interest in people and celebrate the uniqueness of each individual.
