After The Tide

The effects of the tide on the River Severn are constantly illustrated on the banks that are exposed at low water. Each new cycle of ebb and flow creates a fresh topography, with powerful currents manipulating mud, sand and rocks. An intricate landscape is formed as the water washes away. Debris settles for a few hours before it continues its journey to somewhere else.
